Following residency, Dr. Ellender served as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at LSUHSC and has been in practice since 2012.

She attended medical school at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and anesthesia residency at the Albany Medical Center Anesthesiology Residency Program. Dr. Finucane also attended Duke University Hospital’s Pediatric Anesthesiology Program, where she completed a pediatric anesthesia fellowship. Dr. Finucane is a board eligible anesthesiologist.
